TECHNICAL INFORMATION, AND SPECIFICATIONS

The rated volts, watts, and amperage for the T-36 model Electrowarmth® bunk
warmer are shown in the table below. The Comfort Control thermostat cycles the warmth on
and off at short intervals. It pulls full rated amperage only when cycled on. The amount of
time it is cycled on versus off depends on the Comfort Control setting and cabin temperature.
Experience has shown that on the average, it is cycled on less than 50% of the time. Since
the rated amperage listed is maximum if it is on 100% of the time, the average load on the
battery system is 50% or less of rated amperage (reports of battery problems have been
negligible over the 40 years 12 volt bunk warmers have been in use).

The T-36 bunk warmer is 60 inches long. This heats your feet, legs, back, and shoulders.
There is no heat under the pillow. The model number specifies the width: the T36 is
36 inches wide. The bunk warmer can be narrower, but not wider than
the mattress on which it is placed. Care must be taken that the bunk warmer lies flat
on the mattress and does not become bunched up, folded or kinked during use. This can
cause serious overheating problems with the potential of a fire hazzard. Do not use pins
to attach the bunk warmer to the mattress as this may damage the wiring.
The best way to keep the bunk warmer flat and protect it from excessive soiling or other
damage is to cover it with a fitted sheet.
