One of the most common complaints of clients is that the massage table feels cold on
their bare skin when they first lie down on it at the beginning of a massage therapy
session.
A second major concern of both professional massage practitioners and their clients is
that no matter whether they are in a warm or a cold climate, the client's body still
loses heat while he or she is on the table.
A third concern is that if the therapy room is kept warm enough to keep the client
warm during the massage session, it may be too warm for the comfort of the massuesse.

Because it lies flat on the massage table and underneath any other coverings or dressings
you may use, it provides gentle, uniform heat keeping both the table and your client

An ElectroWarmth® massage table warmer is made from 100% 6oz white poly/cotton blend
material with the heating element wires quilted into the warming pad with 78/44 poly-cotton
blend thread. It is fully machine or hand washable.
To function properly the ElectroWarmth® massage table warmer should be laid flat on the table,
covered with either a fleece or other light quilted cover. This over cover serves two essential
purposes: (1) it keeps the warmer pad securely in place so that it doesn't get bunched up, and
(2) it traps the heat generated by the warmer transmitting it gently and uniformly to your client's
body.
Unlike many other similar products which have only two temperature settings: high and low, an
ElectroWarmth® massage table warmer is equipped with a 10-position automatic temperature
control which allows you to adjust the temperature to whatever level is most beneficial for your
client.
The temperature control has a memory which automatically retains the last setting before it was
turned off and returns to that setting again when the control is turned on. It also has an overheat
safety feature which automatically shuts down if overheating occurs. Furthermore, it automatically
shuts down after 10 hours if you forget to turn it off after you finish your session. These safety
features protect you and your client against the possibility of burns or starting a fire.
Because of the overheat safety protective features you should not place excessive padding such as
a thick foam rubber toper or egg-crate pad over the top of the ElectroWarmth® massage table
warmer. Such action can result in excessive heat buildup and cause failure to occur.
As a further safety consideration, you should never "tuck in" any wired area of the warmer, the
plug or the supply cord. The warmer must lie flat and not be bunched up or kinked. Also, you must
not use pins of any sort to attach it to your massage table because they may damage the electrical
wiring. Also, you must watch to see that no part of the warmer or the supply cord accidentally gets
pinched by the frame or folding mechanism of your table.
