The rated volts, watts, and amperage for each of the ElectroWarmth® fitted bed warmers and
the ElectroWarmth® 12-volt bunk warmer are shown in the tables below.
The Comfort Control thermostat cycles on and off at short intervals. It draws the full
rated amperage only when cycled on. The amount of time it is cycled on versus off depends on the Comfort
Control setting and room temperature.
Experience has shown that, on the average, the control is cycled on less than 50% of the time.
This is important in the case of the 12-volt bunk warmer for truckers. Since the rated amperage
listed is the maximum current drawn if the control is on 100% of the time, the average load on
the truck's battery system is 50% or less of rated amperage (reports of battery problems have
been negligible over the 40 years ElectroWarmth® 12 volt bunk warmers have been in use).
Note: Wattage and amperage shown for dual control ElectroWarmth® fitted bed warmer models is
total. Each side is rated 1/2 the total shown.
